（中央社記者波士頓11日電）總統馬英九11日率團出訪友邦，於美東時間11日抵達美國波士頓過境，美國在台協會主席薄瑞光、駐美代表沈呂巡接機；馬總統預計下午首度以總統身分返回母校哈佛大學演講。
馬總統11日率團展開8天7夜的「久揚專案」，赴加勒比海及中美洲友邦進行國是訪問；這次出訪定位為國是訪問，目的是鞏固邦誼並驗證活路外交成果。
久揚專案是馬總統任內第11度出訪友邦、第2次過境美國東岸，也是首度過境波士頓，並以總統身分回母校哈佛大學；馬總統上次回哈佛大學，是9年前以台北市長及國民黨主席身分，並到幾個學院演講。1040712
